What's the big deal?
Here we go again, people raising their pitchforks over a supposed insult towards our being a Filipino. Screams of ZOMG RACIST!!1 can be heard accross the internets the minute after they watched their downloaded episode Desperate Housewives. This is exactly like that time people got all huffy over Tommy Hilfiger dissing us Asians (which wasn't even true). No doubt we're going to get our emails clogged up again with stupid boycotts and "let's unite as a Filipino race!" statements.
WTH people, it's a joke, get over it. We all laugh at French "We Surrender!" jokes, Turban jokes, and dumb blonde jokes. It's alright to poke fun at ourselves. Heck, Rex Navarette made a whole career about our broken english, I don't see anyone crucifying him.
Vern hit it right in the head with his post :
You know what is embarrassing? … the clip doesn’t embarrass me, Filipinos hooting and tooting about the grave injustice done unto them embarrasses me.
So anyone offended by it, chill out, enjoy it for what it is, these overreactions are making us look more stupid than the clip itself.

it was a bit racial but we should be able to laugh it off
we cant be hypocrites and say we are not prejudice to foreigners in our country
like the koreans for example
i've heard countless jokes by my friends which are racial for me towards koreans
ah well
at least our country got limelight for a little while there
with the government demanding an apology
way to go!!
you demand apologies for nonsense things yet you cant seem to solve economic problems in our country
i applaude the government
really

Yeah, it was idiotic for them to demand an apology, makes us look like a bunch of oversensitive pricks :(
